Dawn Callender comes to TTFTC as the Chairperson of the Regulated Industries Commission. She previously headed the financial functions of two significant companies operating in the energy sector. She currently provides advice to small businesses and coaching to financial professionals. During her career, she worked in the UK, USA, and Zimbabwe in the fields of strategic plan performance management, strategic financial management, and implementation of business systems. In Trinidad & Tobago, Ms. Callender worked with other international professionals in the USA and Japan. Working as part of international teams, at home and abroad, has broadened her cultural perspective and enables her to adapt readily to, and function effectively in, any professional setting.
Ms. Callender holds accountancy qualifications from the USA and the UK. She also holds Master in Business Administration from Henley Management College (UK) and has continued research interest in the fields of strategy, governance and leadership.
