Mr. Jonathan Mark was appointed as a Commissioner of the Fair Trading Commission by Her Excellency Christine Kangaloo, the President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on April 8, 2026.


He is an accomplished banking professional with over eleven years of experience across Wealth Management, Trade Financing, Corporate and Retail Banking.

Throughout his career, he has held a range of key roles within financial institutions, earning a strong reputation for driving portfolio growth, improving profitability, and leading with a people-first mindset. His commitment to employee development, engagement, and creating a progressive work environment has consistently elevated team performance and organizational culture.

Mr. Mark has successfully leveraged his expertise to collaboratively manage several credit portfolios each valued at approximately TT $1 billion. His structuring experience spans project development, real estate financing, debt restructuring and the delivery of tailored working capital solutions to meet diverse client needs.

He holds a Diploma in Business and Accounting from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is a Certified Financial Advisor (Cert. FA) accredited by the Institute of Banking and Finance of Trinidad and Tobago.
